Natural and Cultural Heritage Interpretation Minor A minor in Natural and Cultural Heritage Interpretation provides special experiences and competencies for students interested in working with the public in outdoor settings. The required courses help you to understand and interpret natural, cultural, and historical places. The minor can also enhance your opportunities to find meaningful employment as a guide, interpreter, educator, adventure leader, ranger, or resource manager. Courses Requirements: AN 3443 Researching Local Places or AN 1123 Cultural Anthropology or Three credits from the following: A minor program is a concentrated course of study in a given discipline or sub discipline, which includes 15-18 credit hours of study, comprised of at least 9 credits outside the student’s major program and other major or minor programs taken at Unity College, also comprised of at least 6 credit hours taken in residence at Unity College, and has been approved by the faculty as a minor program. |
