Psychology Minor The Unity College Minor in Psychology is designed to provide interested students with a broad overview of topics and domains within the field of psychology. The science of psychology is a rich complement to a variety of liberal arts and professional degree programs. The psychology minor will introduce students to theoretical concepts, research methodologies, and practical applications within the diverse field of psychology. The program will allow students the opportunity to support their major field of study by increasing their understanding of human behavior and by enhancing their credentials for prospective employers in the human service field or for pursuing graduate studies. Course Requirements: PY 2113 Group Process or PY 2013 Human Development A minor program is a concentrated course of study in a given discipline or sub discipline, which includes 15-18 credit hours of study, comprised of at least 9 credits outside the student’s major program and other major or minor programs taken at Unity College, also comprised of at least 6 credit hours taken in residence at Unity College, and has been approved by the faculty as a minor program. |
