Teaching and Learning CENTER for ENVIRONMENTAL AND EXPERIENTIAL EDUCATION
Teaching and Learning majors are interested in both how people learn and in science. They believe in the effectiveness of a range of teaching methods and are open to combining traditional and non-traditional approaches to reach and engage a variety of audiences. They are change agents.
Teaching and learning majors see the world as a classroom. They work indoors and outdoors to teach the facts and principles of the natural world. They welcome the security of a school-year job and the flexibility and reward that summer work in the physical sciences can offer. They are interested in youth and in motivating them to learn the science of nature.
Is this you?

Do you wonder how the world works? Are you a leader? Are you the one who explains things to your classmates? Do you like working with others? Do you think science should be used to help solve problems? Are you passionate about the environment? Do you want to change the world, one person at a time? Or faster?
If yes, a Teaching and Learning major is for you.
