Wildlife Conservation majors work tirelessly to save wild lands and wildlife through conservation and education from a local to international level. They seek sustainable solutions to one of today's most pressing environmental concerns--protecting Earth's biological diversity. They strive to make a difference in preserving and protecting species through conservation education, preservation of habitat, and management of fish and wildlife.

Black Bear StudyThis Bachelor of Science program in Wildlife Conservation is designed to prepare students in wildlife conservation as it relates to habitat, ecosystems, and other land or resource use. Students receive a solid foundation in biological and ecological principles along with courses focusing on natural resource and wildlife management. Target employers include state and federal conservation and land management agencies, as well as non-profit conservation organizations such as National Audubon or The Nature Conservancy. Graduates of this program meet educational standards qualifying them as refuge managers or wildlife inspectors with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
