Teacher Education Partnership Unity College offers reduced tuition to instructional employees at schools which have partnered with the College in its Teacher Education Program. Eligible employees at partnered schools may enroll in a given semester’s classes, beginning after the end of the prior semester’s preregistration period, and up to the first day of classes of the desired semester. Preregistration is generally in early November for spring semester, and early April for fall semester. Currently, this rate is $325 per credit hour. Only tuition is reduced in this agreement; the costs of fees, books, and other materials associated with enrollment remain the full responsibility of the enrolled individual. Eligible employees may register only in regular undergraduate courses on a space-available basis. They may enroll any time after the final day of pre-registration and prior to the first day of classes. Undergraduate courses may be taken for credit, but will not be applied toward a Unity College degree unless the individual becomes a fully matriculated student of the College. Eligible employees are only those currently employed, in an instructional capacity, by one of the educational institutions with which we have formal memoranda of understanding to provide placements for students in the Unity College Teacher Education Program. Questions about enrolling for classes should be directed to the Registrar’s office. You may reach Christie Heath, Office Coordinator, at (207) 948-3131 x218, cheath@unity.edu; or Holly Hein, Registrar, at (207) 948-3131, x244, hein@unity.edu. Payment for classes is expected on the normal schedule published in the current Unity College Catalog—we will not be using a different schedule of payment for individuals enrolling under this agreement. The current Catalog provides that all bills are due by August 1 for the fall semester, and December 1 for the spring semester. Questions about bill payment should be directed to Jeri Roberts, Director of Student Accounts, at (207) 948-3131 x261, jroberts@unity.edu.
