Academic Support Services
Library The Dorothy Webb Quimby Library offers a variety of services, including reference and information literacy instruction; instructor reserves; computers, photocopiers and scanners; books, videos, periodicals, searchable online databases, newspapers, and other materials. Information Technology The Information Technology Department (IT) is responsible for the computing infrastructure on campus. IT maintains computer workstations, labs and clusters throughout campus: at Koons Hall, the Activities Building, the Library, the Learning Resource Center, and the residence halls. Each student may access the Internet from any public workstation in the Labs or Library. For students with their own personal computers, wireless Ethernet is available in the residence halls and Student Center. Technology support is also provided to faculty and staff. Career Resource Center The Career Resource Center seeks to " . . . empower Unity students and alumni to plan their future by providing resources and educating students about developing career exploration skills, conducting successful internship and employment searches, and facilitating positive work experiences. Learning Resource Center The LRC is Unity’s academic support center, offering such services as peer tutoring and support for people with learning differences. Counseling Services The Counseling Service offers confidential individual counseling, outreach, educational programming, and consultation to address the needs of the Unity College Students.

Writing Assistance Center The Unity College Writing Center offers trained peer tutors who work collaboratively with students, faculty and staff on any aspect of their writing.
