WE LEAD Environmental Leader Awards
High School Environmental Leader Award This award is designed to honor young women who show a serious commitment to a better environment. The Women's Environmental Leadership Program (WE Lead) seeks to encourage personal discovery and empowerment for young women interested in the fields of environmental science, natural resources or environmental action and offer them the tools they need to become confident leaders. WE Lead is seeking nominations from high school teachers/advisors for young women who demonstrate an interest and involvement in activities that foster environmental stewardship and who show the promise of being future leaders in the environmental field. The young women we would like to honor not only show an interest in environmental problems, but also want to actively work on the solutions. Who do you know that is an aspiring young woman environmental leader? College Student Environmental Leader Award The College Student Environmental Leader Award honors a female Unity College student who has demonstrated leadership skills in a science or environmental related field and has had a positive impact on the Unity College community. College Environmental Leader Nomination Information Nominations can be submitted by faculty, staff and students.
