Lake George Regional Park - Primitive Skills 

We’re excited to be partnering with the Maine Primitive Skills School (www.primitiveskills.com) to offer this unique NOVA experience.  Lake George Regional Park will serve as the scenic basecamp for this trip where will be staying in a rustic cabin heated by a wood stove.  The focus will be on learning and practicing a variety of primitive skills: including wilderness awareness & tracking, shelter building, and fire making.  Though we will have the use of modern gear during the trip, you will build the knowledge and skills base for surviving without these amenities.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in a service project to benefit and preserve the park.
