Acadia National Park (Basecamp)

One of our most popular trips!  Acadia National Park is a remarkable destination for hiking, exploring and enjoying Maine’s breathtaking coast.  Comprised of a cluster of islands, Acadia is home to Cadillac Mountain (1,530 ft)—the highest point on the U.S. Atlantic coast.  This basecamp trip will be full of many exciting options: day hikes, swimming, and campfire gatherings are some Unity favorites.  Be sure to bring your camera!  Cadillac Mountain is one of the first places in the U.S. to see the sunrise!
 
Students will have the opportunity to participate in a service project to help preserve this magnificent area.
