NOVA Wilderness Orientation Program 

WINTER NOVA trips are run during winter break just before classes begin.  Trips fill on a first-come, first-serve basis so it is important to send in your NOVA health history and trip request forms as soon as possible.  Half of the seats on each trip are reserved for incoming and transfer students while the other half are reserved for students who need to make up the summer NOVA experience.

WINTER NOVA takes place during the following dates:

• Tues, Jan 8th – Sat, Jan 12th

The first day serves as a big group welcome on campus.  All students spend the afternoon getting acquainted with their leaders and the group and reviewing trips guidelines/paperwork/etc.  On-campus students will move into their residence halls earlier in the day.  Off-campus students do not need to stay on campus that evening.  Trips will depart in the morning on the 9th and return mid to late afternoon on the 12th.
