Welcome Reception for New Arrivals
Enjoy coffee, juice, and a breakfast bar while you wait to register.

Student Center 

 

 Registration--All Students
All students check in at the library, receive their info packets, and have an opportunity to check on other student and local services (Internet, banking, health, etc.) Students will receive a ticket for an IT session to set up their computers.

 "Welcome Home"--Residential Students
Students check into their rooms, meet their resident advisor, roommates, and move in.

Lunch
Come enjoy a large spread, complete with all your favorite sandwich fixings--deli meats, vegetarian options, great salads, and yummy desserts.

Welcome Address
President Stephen Mulkey and Vice President for Academic Affairs Bill Trumble welcome the incoming class and their families.

Dean for Student Affairs Gary Zane introduces the incoming class to the unique qualities of the community that they are joining.

Students take part in a tree-planting ceremony with Dean for Student Affairs Gary Zane and Student Government Association President Amy Kennedy.

Trees will be planted between Wood Hall and Quaker Hill Road.

"Rest Assured" (parents' program)
This information session introduces members of the Unity College administration and staff, who will answer questions from students' families and friends before they leave for home.

Open Fall Sports Practices
Join the Unity Rams during practices for all fall sports teams.

Seasonal, local, organic, and whole foods with a wide selection of ethnic foods. Mmm!

12:30-3:30 P.M. Afternoon Fun Fest
An afternoon of games, music, dancing, and outdoor activities. Students will receive their stainless steel water bottle (Take Back the Tap) to encourage use of tap water. Flash in the Pans, a local steel drum band, will perform from 1-2 then offer free lessons from 2-3:30 pm.
