Returning Students

Unity College awards scholarships in academics, community service, leadership, or professional activities. Some scholarships require that you submit a Unity College Application for Scholarship whereas others do not require an application or are by nomination only. When required, scholarship application materials must be obtained from and returned to:

Allison Hall Scholarship

  • Junior or Senior
  • Shows perseverance in overcoming adversity in pursuit of his or her education at Unity

David M. Purdy Scholarship

  • Demonstrate significant civic involvement for betterment of community, campus and/or beyond
  • Documented evidence and/or recognition of citizenship, community involvement, and stewardship
  • GPA 2.0+

Three $1,000

Faculty and Staff Stewardship Scholarship

  • Junior or Senior
  • Demonstrates commitment to environmental stewardship
  • GPA 2.0
  • Stewardship demonstrated through internship, independent study, service learning project, environmental action

  • Full-time students in good academic standing
  • Demonstrate leadership and willingness to help where needed
  • Nomination by Unity College Community member only

Scholarship Funding Acknowledgments
Scholarships for Maine students, who have attained superior scholastic achievement, are made available through the generosity of The Betterment Fund which was created by the will of William Bingham II.

The Trout Unlimited Scholarship is made available through the generosity of the Kennebec Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited.

The families of the graduating class and other individual donors also contribute to the scholarships for Unity College students.
