If this is the question you’re asking, we welcome and encourage you to visit our campus and discover what makes Unity such a unique and extraordinary college. We offer visits Monday through Friday and occasional Saturday events year-round.

Visiting During the School Year
The best time to visit is while classes are in session. You will see the campus in action, meet current students, and chat with faculty. If you choose to visit during the academic year, you will be able to:
- Tour campus facilities
- Meet with an Admissions Counselor
- Sit in on a class
- Meet with students and professors
- Check out campus activities
- Sample the fine meals in our dining facilities
Interested in spending the day with a current Unity student? One of our student ambassadors will be happy to show you around, take you to classes, introduce you to professors, and chat with you over lunch in the Dining Center. Please schedule your day shadow at least one week in advance to ensure ambassador availability. Day Shadows are offered Monday thru Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Experience what it's like to be a Unity student with an overnight visit. We will create a customized schedule for you based on your interests and needs. Sleep in a residence hall, eat in the Dining Center, meet other students, professors and staff, participate in campus activities, and sit in on classes. This program is reserved for high school seniors only. Overnight Visits are offered Monday thru Thursday nights only.
Admissions Events
If you’d prefer to visit campus on a weekend, Admissions hosts a variety of Saturday events throughout the academic year:
- Winter Preview - February 18, 2012 (Fall 2012 prospective students)
- Spring Open House - March 31, 2012
Additionally, accepted students will have the opportunity to visit during New Student Experience in April.
Visiting During the Summer
If you choose to visit during the summer months, you will get to experience the beauty of our rural Maine campus. Though students and faculty are not available, the admissions team is more than happy to show you around and answer all of your questions. We schedule summer tours and admissions interviews for all prospective students mid-week during the summer (May 9th - August 26th), Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Can't make on it to campus on a weekday during the summer? We offer one Saturday morning each month for you to tour campus and talk with an admissions counselor. Saturday, June 11. 2011, Saturday, July 9, 2011, Saturday, August 6, 2011. Sessions start at 9:30 a.m.
