Office of College Advancement |
Rob Constantine joined Unity College as the Vice President for College Advancement in 2007. Prior to coming to Unity, Rob served as Annual Fund Director, Alumni Affairs Director, and Associate Director of Development at Kimball Union Academy, an independent boarding school for students in grades 9-12. He has also worked in the advancement office as Director of Research and Prospect Management at Colby-Sawyer College. Rob received a BS in Applied Sociology/Organizational Analysis from the University of Rhode Island and his MA in Sociology from Emory University. He enjoys getting into the classroom and taught as an adjunct for several years at Colby-Sawyer College and Granite State College, and looks forward to that possibility at Unity down the road. Rob and his partner Audra Bucklin have two children, Tori and Sawyer. When they are not busy shuffling between Tori’s and Sawyer’s many activities, they enjoy time outdoors, down time with their cats Charlie and Oliver, and the usual debates of a split Red Sox/Yankees family…Rob’s the only Yankees fan in the bunch. Alumni Relations and Events Coordinator Kate Grenier got her start in College Advancement as an undergraduate at the University of Maine at Orono. She served Alumni Relations in a number of capacities, developing an overview of the important role that alumni relations plays in the ongoing life of a university or college. A native of Albion, Maine, Kate grew up just miles from the Unity College campus. She began her position at Unity in 2004 shortly after receiving her undergraduate degree in International Affairs. Music has always been important in her life, and she began playing the piano at the age of 7. At the University of Maine she excelled as a four-year member of the Athena Consort singing group. A certified wedding planner with an over indulgence in house plants, Kate currently has many plants but expresses continued frustration with her inability to keep bamboo alive. In her ample spare time, Kate plays with her Labradoodle (Labrador & standard Poodle) and has future plans to get a horse, dog, goat, goose, several cats and chicken for the small farm she plans to establish. This will fit in perfectly with her other interest, gardening and “playing in the dirt.” |
