American University International Programs (AUIP) AUIP offers semester (15 week) and short term (2 - 6 week) study abroad programs that combine academic study at universities with opportunities for experiential learning outside of the classroom. Center for Ecological Living and Learning (CELL)
CELL offers 14-week college semester abroad programs focusing on community-based solutions to environmental problems. Semester programs consist of a combination of structured course work, field-learning experiences, service-learning opportunities, and development of individual action plans for environmental stewardship. JET - Japan Exchange and Teaching Program
Program sponsored by Japanese government that places college graduate in 3 types of paid positions: Assistant Language Instructor, Sports Exchange Advisor, Coordinator of International Relations. Application deadline December 5th. Application available on-line.
Volunteers for Peace
"VFP promotes International Voluntary Service as an effective means of intercultural education and community service. Summer, semester and academic year study abroad programs in 13 countries. Internships and travel opportunities are also available in several locations. Programs are available in: Argentina, Australia, Austria, China, the Czech Republic, England, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Russia, South Africa and Spain.
AustaLearn
Study abroad programs in Australia and New Zealand at the college/university level at one of 19 universities; a full degree or a summer short course (3-6 weeks) during June/July/August. Internships are encouraged as part of every program.
