Unity College Installment Plan 2008-2009
For the convenience of families who find it helpful to pay school costs on a monthly basis, Unity College has instituted the Unity Installment Plan (UIP). UIP is a budgeting service allowing students to pay their cost of attendance in ten equal installments beginning June 25. The only cost for using this plan is the annual nonrefundable application fee of $50.00 to cover administration expenses.
How Does UIP Work?
Students determine the total cost of tuition, room and board for the Academic Year. From this amount, credits such as Financial Aid are subtracted, leaving the net cost of attending. This amount is paid in ten equal installments starting June 25.
After the worksheet, application and first installment payment have been received and processed, a coupon payment book will be sent to each participant to use when making subsequent payments. Monthly payments must be received by the Twenty fifth of the month and must continue until the budgeted amount is paid in full. Payments not posted by the end of the month may be subject to a late payment fee on the unpaid balance. In cases of extended delinquencies, the College reserves the right to cancel a student's enrollment in UIP.
How to Enroll You can enroll by downloading, printing and completing both the worksheet and the application . After completing both forms you must mail them along with the $50.00 application fee and the first month's UIP payment. The UIP worksheet and application form is designed to allow applicants to calculate their UIP budget. Applicants should adjust their UIP budget, if necessary, for any changes in their Financial Aid or their Student Account Charges.
Students who enroll by June 25 must submit:
1. The UIP worksheet and application form
2. The $50 application fee
3. The first month's UIP payment
Students who enroll after June 25 but before the August 1 deadline must also submit back payments of the June and July installments.
