New Unity College Chorus to Present Winter Concert on Tuesday, December 5

Unity, Maine -- December, 2006 –  The Unity College Chorus will present a Winter concert on Tuesday, December 5, at 7 p.m. at the Unity Centre for the Performing Arts, 42 Depot Street, Unity, Maine.  Admission is free and open to the general public.

   The concert is the first for a new chorus featuring students enrolled in a music course at Unity College.  Featured on the program will be choral works and solos representing a wide variety of styles including early music, folk songs and songs from Broadway musicals.  There will also be an audience sing-a-long.  The concert is directed by Richard Brown and Diana Brookes Brown of Stockton Springs, Maine.  Deanna Sawtelle of Albion, Maine will serve as piano accompanist.
