Support
the Team Green Monster Weight Loss Challenge to Benefit the Unity College
Faculty and Staff Scholarship
On February 4 and
5, 2006, a four-man team of faculty and staff from Unity College called the
“Green Monster” will compete in the U.S. National Toboggan Championships at the
Camden Snow Bowl in Camden, Maine.
Two of the members, Mark “Ozone Ranger” Tardif and Steve “The Green Punisher”
Nason have pledged to lose pounds for dollars to benefit the Unity College
Faculty and Staff Scholarship to benefit engaged, committed Unity
College students with a demonstrated financial need. Sponsorships will be for
$1 per pound lost per individual up to a 60 lb. per pledge maximum. The initial
weigh-in will take place at the Camden Snow Bowl on February 4, 2006, with the
final weigh-in for a pledge tally taking place on January 1, 2007.
