Mac McHale and
Emery Hutchins to Perform at Unity Centre for the Performing Arts on
March 30

College is pleased to announce a concert featuring Mac McHale and Emery
Hutchins on Friday, March 30th at the Unity Centre for the
Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10. For information call

McHale and Hutchins,
affectionately known at Mac & Hutch, have recently joined forces to sing
and play songs from Ireland, the mountains and the sea. They traveled
and recorded with The Winds for 18 years.

For the past 17
years, McHale has led a Mac McHale & the Old Time Radio Gang. Hutchins
has been an important part of the Angel Band, a world famous Irish music
group.
They will be
performing some of their favorites from The Northeast Winds as well as
some very old-time traditional country music. Instruments featured will
include the banjo, guitar, mandolin, concertina, bodran and the octave
mandolin. The program is sure to include some hot picking instrumentals
and sing-a-longs.
The Unity Centre for the Performing Arts
is located at 42 Depot Street (off Route 202) in Unity, Maine. March
begins the Celtic theme series of concerts.
Unity College is a small private
