Phillip Mentor and Paul Sullivan Offer Hope for Haiti in UCCPA Benefit Concert on January 22

A press conference featuring Caribbean opera star Phillip Mentor, Grammy Award Winner Paul Sullivan, Gretchen O’Grady, RN, Emergency Services Director, American Red Cross Pine Tree Chapter, and Justin Walker, President and Founder of Water Projects International, was held on Thursday, January 21 at the Unity College Centre for the Performing Arts (UCCPA) in Unity.

The press conference raised awareness of Haiti relief efforts and the Hope for Haiti Benefit Concert featuring Phillip Mentor and Paul Sullivan at the UCCPA on Friday, January 22, at 7:30 p.m.

Caribbean opera star Phillip Mentor rehearses with Grammy Award winner Paul Sullivan at the Unity College Centre for the Performing Arts on Thursday, January 21, for their concert to benefit Haiti relief efforts.  They will perform gospel spirituals.

Tickets are $10 per person with 100% of the proceeds to benefit Haiti relief efforts of the Red Cross and Water Projects International.  Tickets may be purchased online at http://www.unityme.org/theater/, by phone at 207-948-SHOW, or at the door.  The Unity College Centre for the Performing Arts is located at 4 Depot Street, Unity.

Water Projects International is working closely with several NGO's (non-governmental organzations) on the ground in Haiti to distribute bucket style ceramic water filters such as the one pictured above. Every dollar counts towards saving a persons life in Haiti and every penny that is raised for the fund will go directly to Haiti.
