Neville received a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration in 2010 from Boston College.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of Rochester.  A graduate of Camden – Rockport High School, Neville is pleased to return to her native state and serve an environmental college.

“I was attracted to Unity College because of its environmental mission and hands-on approach to learning,” noted Neville.  “Because of its small size and student-centered culture, Unity provides employees with the opportunity to work closely with students.  I will also be involved in many areas of the College.  This position is an ideal fit for me."

She also notes her attraction to Unity’s focus on sustainability.

“I am really excited about contributing to the holistic development of students who are preparing to be the next generation of environmental stewards,” noted Neville.

“Our student programming has always been a strength of our campus life,” stated Dean for Student Affairs Gary Zane.  “Rebecca’s energy and creativity will only enhance these efforts.  She will be a tremendous co-worker for our student affairs staff, and an outstanding role model for our students.”

Neville, who will live in a home that borders the campus, was praised by Stephen Nason, the Director of Residence Life / Assistant Dean for Student Affairs.

“Rebecca brings a bright new light to residence life at Unity College,” noted Nason.  “She also brings a new, fresh perspective and, because her position as Assistant Director of Residence Life is brand new to the College, will help us to re-examine how we have done things and help us embrace change as residence life grows.”

Unity College is a small private college in rural Maine that provides dedicated, engaged students with a liberal arts education which emphasizes the environment and natural resources.
