Matt O'Malia being interviewed by Max Cole

On Tuesday, July 5, Max Cole, a Reporter with Bangor-based WLBZ Channel 2, visited the construction site of TerraHaus, the Passive House standards influended residence hall set for completion in August. The Passive House approach incorporates the most energy efficient building standards in the world.

Cole interviewed GO Logic's award-winning architect Matt O'Malia and Professor Doug Fox

O'Malia discussed the extensive and collaborative design process leading to the construction of TerraHaus, the first residence hall in the United States built to Passive Haus standards.

The WLBZ Channel 2 piece is expected to air today during either the 5 p.m. or 6 p.m. newscast.

Fox regularly updates a blog about the progress of the TerraHaus project.
