Unity College to Host “Dig Pink” Volleyball Event on Tuesday, October 7 at 7 p.m. to Support Breast Cancer Awareness

The nationally ranked Unity College women’s volleyball team will don pink attire to raise awareness of breast cancer in a home game on Tuesday, October 7 at 7 p.m. against Maine Maritime Academy.

The Unity College community will support the effort by wearing pink ribbons, buying raffle chances for a pink volleyball signed by the team, purchasing pink scarves, hats and glow sticks, with the proceeds benefiting breast cancer research and education.

Unity College is a small private college in rural Maine that provides dedicated, engaged students with a liberal arts education which emphasizes the environment and natural resources. Unity College graduates are prepared to be environmental stewards, effective leaders, and responsible citizens through active learning experiences within a supportive community.
