Through their foundation, the Kings have generously supported the library. Funding to enhance the public function of the library was used to create the new space serving as the children's section. “The renovations included the relocation of children’s books to a more centralized location on the first floor,” noted Unity College Librarian Melora Norman. “Child friendly and attractive whimsical book shelves and furnishings were part of the renovation. A coloring table, play square, storytime seating, and brightly colored carpet were also added.” Norman added that a second floor balcony area reading corner was established as part of the renovation.
