RHowes

Playing soccer and teaching are two of Ryan’s passions, so naturally we asked him to coach Men’s Soccer at Unity College. He’s played competitive soccer for over fifteen years and led Unity’s soccer team to the 2006 USCAA national collegiate soccer tournament. While attending Unity College he was named 2002 and 2006 YSCC First Team Player and awarded 2006 USCAA All-American.

After finishing his Bachelor’s in Adventure Education Leadership and Adventure Therapy from Unity College, in 2007, he attended graduate school at Minnesota State University and earned a Master’s in Experiential Education, finishing summer 2008.

He teaches Adventure Education to high school students at a small alternative high school in Belfast, Maine. And in his spare time, he teaches people how to rock and ice climb and is pursuing professional rock and ice climbing guiding through the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA).

He currently lives between Unity, Maine and is well in love with a beautiful woman and her two children.
