Cianchette sideCianchette Hall
Cianchette Hall at Unity College is a 85-bed suite styled residence facility designed to provide a quiet atmosphere conducive to scholarship and privacy. Cianchette is divided into four sections, Gold, Green, Red, and Blue.  Sections Green, Red and Blue consists of two floors with 10 residents in three doubles and four singles rooms per floor. Each room 15' x 15' and is furnished with a bed, dresser, desk, chair, closet space, and a sink. There is a shared bathroom between rooms.  Section Gold consists of two floors with 6 double rooms on the first floor and 6 double and one RA room on the second floor. Each room in Gold is also 15' x 15' and is furnished with a bed, dresser, desk, chair, and closet space.    Two community bathrooms are on each floor in Gold. The bathrooms consist of  a handicap accessible toilet and sink room and to a handicap accessible shower/changing room. The bathrooms are designed so that one person could be using the sink/toilet while another is using the shower.  Each room in all four sections opens up into the main lounge. The laundry facilities are located on the first floor while the second floor offers a study room. Each section has access to an outside courtyard and parking is available behind Cianchette.

CottagesCottages
The Cottages are located down the hill at the bottom corner of campus. The cottages are designed for independent, mature, serious students. The cottages consist of small individual units for four students. They offer single rooms with a common living room, small kitchenette, and a large bathroom with two toilets, two sinks, and a shower. All cottages are coed.


Eastview backEastview
Eastview is two level double loaded corridor style residence with 21 rooms per floor. There are two bathrooms on each floor with a laundry room on the lower floor and a lounge with cable television on the second floor. Rooms are double occupancy with dimensions of 12'6" x 14'. Windows are double windows that are 42" wide and 31" high. The first floor and second floor of Eastview are coed.

 

Maplewood frontMaplewood
Maplewood is a 27 bed upper class residence consists of two wings of double and single rooms split by a central community core.


The central community core is the heart of the building.  It consists of: an air lock glass entry way, a community kitchen, a laundry room, a large computer/study room, a bike/kayak storage room, the resident advisor's room and a large community lounge. The air lock glass entryway with its glass walls allows a lot of natural lighting into the community lounge. The community kitchen is right off the community lounge as is also the resident advisor’s room.  The bike/kayak storage room only has an exterior entranceway to prevent bikes from being wheeled through the residence. The large 18’ x 30’ community lounge has a cathedral ceiling with large skylights to let the natural light shine.  Maplewood back

The living units are on either side of the central community core with four single, three double bedrooms and a two room triple per side. The double rooms are 12' x 16' and the single rooms are 10' x 16' The rooms come equipped with built in closets.  Two community bathrooms are also in each wing.  The bathrooms consist of an entryway which leads to a handicap accessible toilet and sink and to a handicap accessible shower/changing room.  The bathrooms are designed so that one person could be using the sink/toilet while another is using the shower.  The buildings four bathrooms are all located close to the building’s community lounge.  The single and double bedroom open out onto a north-south corridor with fire doors on either end and is bisected by an east-west corridor that leads into the community lounge.

Westview frontWestview
Westview is a two level double loaded corridor style residence with 19 rooms per floor. There are two bathrooms on each floor with laundry facilities and a lounge with cable television on the second floor. Rooms are double occupancy with dimensions of 12'6" x 14'10". Windows are double windows that are 40" wide and 30" high. The first and second floors of Westview are coed. 

Wood Hall front 2Wood Hall
Wood Hall is a three level double loaded corridor style residence with 16 rooms per floor. There is a bathroom on each floor. On the bottom floor there is a large laundry/common room and a lounge equipped with cable television. Rooms are double occupancy with dimensions of 12' x 15'. Windows are double windows that are 36" wide and 48" high. The first floor of Wood Hall is coed while the second floor of Wood Hall consists of males only. Finally, the third floor of Wood Hall consists of females only.

All resident students are considered to be under the "Campus Plan". Students wishing to apply for housing for the next academic year must follow the housing deposit procedure.
