 Special Features in Our Residences

Our residence halls offer many popular amenities to enhance your on-campus living experiences. A few of the services provided are:

Study Rooms
Study rooms are available in most residences. Study rooms are located on the second floors of Cianchette Green, Red, and Blue, in the central core of Maplewood and on the first floors of Eastview, Westview, and Wood Hall.  These study rooms may be unavailable during times when the college needs to use them for additional occupancy spaces.

Each residence hall study room has computer terminals for resident use.  A printer is also located by these terminals.  All residence halls are wireless allowing residents to connect to the colleges network anywhere in the residences.  For more details on computers in the residences see information technologies here.

Lounges Reggie on the sofa
Each lounge is equipped with comfortable sofas and chairs for formal or informal gatherings of students. Snack and soda machines are also provided in each lounge. Finally all lounges are equipped with basic cable television.

The laundry rooms are located in all residences and include smart card operated machines for washing and drying clothes. These laundry cards can be purchased at the laundry vending machine in the Dining hall and additional money may be put the cards there as well.  A load of wash cost a $1.50 and a dryer load cost a $1.50.

Telephones
Each residential area is equipped with a campus phone for the use of its residents. Additionally each residential room comes with an active local phone line but the residents must bring their own phone.  Long distance calls can be made on this phone line using a calling card. Residents can also have phone service installed in their rooms.
