The Residence Life staff is committed to the safety and security of the campus, developing a sense of community, and developing student potential. We hope that the Residence Life staff will serve your needs well upon your arrival at Unity College.
Housing Process for Incoming Students
Incoming students living on campus will receive a packet from Admissions. In this packet is the housing questionnaire. Students need to either fill out the paper copy and return it to the college or fill out the housing questionnaire on line here. It is important that the incoming student fills out the housing questionnaire accurately because it is used in matching roommates and residences. If you have a specific roommate in mind please put down their name as your first roommate choice. Information about our residence halls can be found here.
The Director of Residence Life begins placing incoming students into housing the second week of May. He only places incoming students who have returned their housing questionnaire because he uses the information on the questionnaire to match roommates. He then send out a notice via your Unity College email telling you your housing placement, who your RA is, and contact information on your roommates. You can also find this information on your student portal under housing when you get access to your Unity College student portal. You are strongly encouraged to contact your roommate before you arrive on campus so that you can begin to get to know each other and help determine who is bringing what for the room.
