Unity Archery Club Volunteers at the Maine Ruffed Grouse Society Banquet
On April 19, 2008, the Unity College Archer’s volunteered at the Ruffed Grouse Society Banquet in Augusta, Maine. We sold tickets, helped the live auction, and worked the silent auction. Thanks again to all the members that helped out.
Unity College holds the Maine State N.A.A. Archery Championships
The Unity Archery Club was the host of the 2008 Maine State N.A.A. Archery Championships on April 5-6, 2008. We had a good turnout and raised money for the club. Thank you for all that helped make this a great success. See you next year.

Unity College Archery Competes at the 39th N.A.A Indoor National Championships
On March 1-2, 2008, Unity Archery Club competed at the East Region National Archery Association Indoor Nationals. The Club took home 1 Gold 2 Silver’s and 1 Bronze. Michael Leslie took home the gold with an 1142, Andy Butler was a close second with an 1115 and Brian Morway rounded up the top three with an 1111. The Club’s other Silver was taken by Emily Mouchon with a 495. Congrats to all the Winners!!!! 5 Unity College Archers Qualify for I.B.O. World Championships!!!
On February 23, 2008, 12 of Unity Archery Members went to the Northeast Indoor I.B.O. Championship at the Springfield Sportsmen’s Show in West Springfield Massachusetts. After the results were in, Unity College had 5 members that got an Invitation to the International Bowhunting Origination World Championships in Ellicott, New York. The archers included Andy Butler, Greg Morrison, Brian Morway, Emily Mouchon and Michael Leslie.
Archery Club Travels to Rode Island
On January 26, 2008, the Unity Archery Club competed in the Ocean State Star FITA. We had a group of 8 members go and shoot for the Gold. The shoot was a blast and we grabbed 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze awards.
