| Singles Events: |

Single Buck: one competitor will make a single cut through a large diameter log.
|
|

Disc Stack – A competitor must cut as many discs from a standing block that he/she can in the aloud time, stacking each on top of the other. Each competitor will be given a set amount of wood to work with. Only discs on top of the block will be counted, so they must stay stacked.

 |
Super Swede – The competitor must make 4 cuts through a log, 6 "x 6" for women and 8x8 for men. The cuts are made with a bow saw quickest time wins.
|
|
 |
Axe Throw – The competitor throws 4 times. The bull’s eye, inner circle and outer circle are worth different amounts going from highest inside to out.
|
|
 |
Pole Climb – The competitors may use a hand rope or there hands to climb the pole as fast as possible. Time ends when the competitor rings the bell at the top of the pole. All climbers must be on belay throughout the climb.

| Birling- Competitors attempt to stay on a rolling log longer than the competitor they are matched against. "Wet" birling is set in a tank of water, otherwise it can be set in a special stantion. |

Doubles Events:

|
Standing Block- The competitor chops either a 6"x6" for women, or 8"x8" for men. The quickest time for the two members to get through their blocks win.

| Crosscut to Death- Two competitors cut as many cookies as they are able to in a set amount of time, with a set amount of wood. |
|
 |
| Fire Build- Two or three competitors work to build a fire hot enough to boil a can of soapy water. They begin with a block of dry cedar, a hatchet, and three matches. Fastest time wins. |

 |
Triples Events:
|

|
UnderHand Choping- The competitors chop either a 6"x6" for women, or 8"x8" for men. The quickest time for either two or three members to get through their blocks win.

| Quarter Split- Competitors are provided with blocks marked on the top with a spray paint dot in the middle. All competitors must split an equal number of blocks into four full length pieces that have some portion of this dot on them. |

 |
| Team Events: |
|
|
| Team Packboard Relay- In this event a competitor in each team ties a pack with all the tools needed for a fire build and runs it to a relay point. The pack is relayed over a course to each teamate until the end is reached where the final two team members build a fire. First team to boil water over wins. |

 |
| Team Bow Saw- Each person on the team cuts one cookie out of a 6x6 for women and an 8x8 for men. |
|
 |
| Team Cross Cut- A pair from each team run a crosscut saw to cut two cookies. |
|
 |
| Team Log Roll- The whole team rolls a log through the given course, sometimes up a stantion, around objects, and hitting set points. The log must hit both pins at the beginning and end of the course. |
|
 |
| Team Pulp Toss- Team members alternate throwing pieces of wood between two set points. The goal is to get 48 logs to land between the two sets of pins on either side. |
