Welcome to the Woodsmen's Team
The Unity College Woodsmen's Team is a student based club. Our team tries to perfect olden day logging techniques. The techniques we use are modified for competition. Our team travels to either three or four intercollegiate competitions (meets) each semester. Our meets range from our season opener which is hosted by us the weekend of Unity’s community weekend. During the fall we also travel to University New Brunswick and University New Hampshire. During our Schools Spring semester we travel to Nova Scotia Agricultural College, University Maine Orono, Colby College and lastly the host for the annual spring final Woodsmen’s Competition.

Our team consists of right now three teams, one Women’s, and two men’s.
Our teams are always looking for new students that have interest in our sport. There is no experience necessary, all of our officers and other team members can and will help you. So if you like to come check our team out we do have at least one officer down at the woodsmen’s shed every week night around 5:30. Hope to see you there.
Our Mission: Our team wants to always chop faster and saw quicker.
