Student Life at Unity College

Active. Friendly. Earthy. Energetic. Passionate about the outdoors. Caretaker of the environment. Collaborative learner. Adventurous soul. That’s you. That’s Unity. That’s why you belong here!

Our campus community brims with spirit, activity, and
fun. . .and you’ll want to be right in the thick of things, whether you’re Fishing for Scholarships,” celebrating Earth Day, cheering for our nationally ranked soccer team, climbing giant stone pillars in our rock park, rockin’ out at the solar-power dance party, or besting your competitors in the Eco-Challenge.

Places to live. Places to play. Stuff to do. Community connections. Resources for success. Ways to serve. You can live your passion at Unity.

Frisbee fanatic or yoga buff, paintball ace or budding journalist, fly-fisher or beekeeper, Unity welcomes diversity. And we love a good celebration—organic produce, grass-fed beef, wild game, veggie fuel, home-baked bread, and all!

Join clubs and activities that range from archery, climbing, drama, fencing, recycling, music, and weightlifting to scientific journal review, marine biology, search and rescue, chess, sustainable sweeteners, and orienteering. Or start your own!

Unity’s intercollegiate teams—go, Rams!—compete in basketball, cross country, soccer, and volleyball. Or you can put your energy into club sports like baseball, ice hockey, lacrosse, Ultimate Frisbee, and Woodsmen.

Our location in a small, rural Maine community keeps you close to the earth: the town of Unity is nationally recognized as host of the Common Ground Country Fair, a celebration of rural and sustainable living.

And we think big—from the forests and trails just outside our own back door to the mountains, lakes, rivers, islands, and parks of Maine—all the way around the world.

Social, cultural, athletic, educational. All kinds of opportunities abound at Unity College. No matter what you like, we’ve got it. So get here, get into it, and get going!
