7th Annual Maine Climate Summit
October 8-10, 2010
The Maine Climate Summit is a gathering of college and high school students from Maine, stared seven years ago to raise awareness about climate issues, build ideas for solutions and activism, and create a network of engaged students. We are hosting this year’s Maine Climate Summit with a theme: what YOU can do about climate change.
Emphases will be on lobbying, networking, and small-scale personal changes that mitigate our impact on climate change. The Summit will run Saturday morning through Sunday afternoon and will include all meals. The weekend will be filled with workshops, excursions, friendly folks, and great ideas.
