Policies and Procedures Relating to Media Equipment
Advance notice of equipment needs is strongly recommended, since the pool of circulating hardware is small and demand high. Overdue fines are 25 cents per hour/$6 per day. Equipment not returned in a timely fashion may be billed for replacement cost of the item; other penalties may also apply. Equipment cannot be renewed. Most equipment circulates for periods of 4 hours at a time. Please speak with the library director ahead of time if you need to borrow equipment for a longer period. Only current students, faculty and staff of Unity College furnishing valid college ID may borrow media equipment. Please note that in order for laptops to function off-campus, you must first log into the network on-campus with your staff or student ID.
