Policies and Procedures Relating to Media Equipment
Advance notice of equipment needs is strongly recommended, since the pool of circulating hardware is small and demand high. Overdue fines are $5 per day up to a period of five days, at which point a processing fee of $5 and the replacement cost of the item will be billed. Most equipment circulates for periods of 4 hours at a time. Please speak with the library director ahead of time if you need to borrow equipment for a longer period. Only current students, faculty and staff of Unity College furnishing valid college ID may borrow media equipment.
Equipment currently available for loan includes:
- 4 Sunpak tripods 5800D for use with still cameras
- 2 Vebon tripods with fluid heads for use with video cameras
- 4 Canon ZR800 video cameras with port for lavalier microphones
- 2 pairs of UHF UM177 lavalier microphones with different channels to be used in tandem or separately CH U1 and CH U2 (we do not have a splitter)
- 3 Canon ZR80 small video cameras
- 1 Sony VX2100 video camera with VHF lavalier microphone set
- 4 G9 12 megapixel point and shoot cameras
- 6 A590 point and shoot cameras (1 week loan period)
- 4 Olympus digital voice recorders VN4100 PC with usb cables
- 1 Olympus digital voice recorder VN960 PC
- 1 set of earbuds and microphone for recorders
- 2 Raytek Minitemp noncontact thermometers
- 3 Kill-a-Watt power meters
- 1 presentation pilot
- 2 Casio Power Graphic calculators
- 3 Texas Instrument TI-83 Plus calculators

- 2 2GB flash drives please delete files after you use them
