The Bachelor of Arts in the Art and Environment program prepares graduates to be authentic artists who literally change the way people see environmental issues. From climate change to biodiversity loss, from personal sustainability to environmental justice, Art and Environment majors present their vision of what is possible and inspire action. Unlike any other art program, Art and Environment integrates environmental studies and sciences, studio and applied arts, and media. Through their grasp of environmental issues, their solid scientific education, and their ability to create, communicate, and inspire, Art and Environment graduates are well prepared for careers as sustainability innovators, communications specialists, independent artists, and for graduate school in media or fine art.
