The Executive Vice President (EVP) is the College’s Chief Financial & Administrative Officer, and on behalf of the President and the College’s interests, Chair the Senior Staff Team and maintain communication between the College & the Board of Trustees as the Executive Liaison to the Board of Trustees.
The Office of the Executive Vice President provides leadership across the College for optimal positioning of the institution in a global, competitive, higher education market through strategic and innovative initiatives.
The Vision of the Office of Executive Vice President is to establish a culture of student-centric and collaborative innovation that can thrive in a rapidly changing 21st century environment.
The Mission of the Office of Executive Vice President is to collaboratively lead the College in strategic initiatives that deliver long-term financial sustainability; and, drive policy, organizational change, technology and infrastructural reinforcement to effectively align resources with market opportunities and demands.
The EVP’s portfolio includes leadership oversight and responsibility of the College’s Board Office; Business Office, Accounts, Purchasing, Payroll & Student Accounts; The College Bookstore; Dining and Catering Services; Facilities, Maintenance, & Public Safety; Human Resources; Information Technology; Development, Alumni & Grants; The Sustainability Office; and The College’s Operations Office.
The Office of the Executive Vice President is responsible for the execution of strategic initiatives from three goals of the Unity College Strategic Plan:
- Goal 3: Develop systemic policy-driven human, technological, physical, and financial infrastructures that allow our students, faculty, and staff to excel.
- Goal 4: Align the College’s curriculum, activities, and operations with the goal of sustainability.
- Goal 6: Ensure sustainable financial strength.
