Lisa is from Maine, currently residing in Belfast. She attended Unity from 2005-2008, and majored in Wildlife Biology. She has been working as a Wildlife Technician for Maine Fish and Wildlife (MDIFW) since the fall of 2008. She banded geese, collected deer and moose harvest data, conducted CWD surveillance, and laboratory work sectioning deer, moose and bear teeth for age analysis. However, the project she spent the majority of my time (3 years’ worth) on is Canada lynx and black bear telemetry projects. For over a year, she supervised field efforts trapping Canada lynx, and this winter will mark her 8th field season capturing and radio-collaring bears.
