Alysa’s work as a community ecologist includes researching which habitat features and human activities influence species diversity. She focuses on dragonfly ecology as well as biodiversity of hemlock forests. Alysa teaches courses in biology and the Environmental Citizen core. She also enjoys the diversity of senior thesis and internship projects that she advises. Alysa lives in Unity, where she is very involved in the work of conservation land trusts and the Unity Barn Raisers. Dr. Remsburg loves making positive contributions to the Unity community and helping students make connections off campus.
