Service Learning Project - Watershed Management

We cleaned and repaired rock dams along the Quaker Hill Road hill.  The rock dams slow water running down the hill and trap sediment, keeping the sediment and associated nutrients from reaching the lake.

We also established a fence-line in a cow field to help a farmer with a crop & livestock rotation plan that will help prevent erosion and runoff into the stream.
