Physical Geology 

    The syllabus and a field guide to the geology of Central Maine, expanded and enhanced by each class as part of a term project. Check back to see the work of the Fall 2000 class in early 2001. If it looks interesting to you, this course will be probably be offered again in Fall 2001.

Environmental Geology  

     A syllabus and current information about class projects related to groundwater and surface water quality in the Unity area, including reports on the Unity landfill, drinking water quality in the Lake Winnecook watershed, and  protecting the campus water supplies. More information coming in Spring 2001.

Weather and Climate 

    A syllabus and lots of links to forecasts, satellite photos, severe storms, and other web sites about weather and related topics. The links section has been revised and expanded to include more maps and forecasting tools.

Get a Job 

     Links to sites that have information on part-time and full-time jobs, in state and federal government, NGOs, research, and the private sector, including sites specializing in environmental and outdoor fields.
