First ÒTake Home ExamÓ

Instructions:

1) Identify a proposed energy efficiency upgrade or renewable energy project. This can be a real or imaginary project

2) Specify the work in detail. Explain the physics and engineering

3) Analyze the basic energy parameters of the project using an appropriate equation, calculator, or model (show all work)

4) Estimate the simple payback

5) Estimate the cost effectiveness using the annuity method

6) Report all of the above in professional writing with tables or mathematical work where useful or necessary
