Trained staff will teach you the skills to be a competent winter backpacker. Weather permitting, you will cross country ski and snowshoe.

We will be hiking in a mile in to a rustic cabin. This cabin has a wood stove and an outhouse. Participants will need to be able to carry their equipment as well as group food and gear, which can add up to as much as 50 pounds. All food and group gear will be provided. The menu will consist of wholesome and delicious foods. We will spend time learning outdoor cooking and living skills, including Leave No Trace principles. We will also participate in a service project to benefit and preserve the park.
