The School of Biodiversity Conservation
Dr. Pamela MacRae, Dean
The School of Biodiversity Conservation includes students and faculty in the Biology, Marine Biology, Wildlife Biology, Wildlife and Fisheries Management, Conservation Law Enforcement, and Captive Wildlife Care and Education majors. We focus on the examination and preservation of biodiversity in marine, terrestrial, and freshwater habitats and prepare students to become successful leaders in this important field.
Programs and Majors
Our programs emphasize the crucial dynamics of biodiversity—loss of biodiversity affects our food sources, our medicines, our ability to combat disease, our raw materials for industry, and our overall sense of being. By providing essential scientific knowledge of the physical and life sciences, we ensure our students learn to effectively address issues of biodiversity in all types of habitats.
