Other thematic elements include landform evolution, erosion and sedimentation, water quality, Geography Information Systems (GIS), environmental change, land use change, and wetland delineation. Students will learn important field and lab skills and demonstrate their comprehension of the theoretical and applied nature of the geosciences through a variety of real world settings, environmental problem-solving scenarios, and research projects.
