Lisa works in the CLC with ACCESS Unity as the ADA Coordinator/Learning Specialist. She has a Master’s degree in Special Education and is a certified Special Education teacher with college teaching experience in math, computer skills, and college success courses. Lisa coordinates academic and housing accommodations for students with learning differences or medical needs. In addition to serving as an academic advisor and amp mentor, Lisa leads skills development seminars in time management, study skills, note-taking, and test anxiety. Her passion is helping students transition to college, and develop self-advocacy and life skills needed to be successful in college and their future careers. In her free time, she is an artist and a musician (co-advisor of the Unity College Chorus,) and loves all animals – especially cats.
