Under the agreement, students who receive RVCC’s Associate of Science Degree in Science and Mathematics with a Biology option may seamlessly transfer with junior standing into a variety of science programs at Unity College. These include Unity’s Bachelor of Science Degree programs in Biology, Sustainable Energy Management, Marine Biology, or Earth and Environmental Science.

“The new agreement creates a pathway for students who have a passion for biology to pursue a bachelor’s degree at an innovative college that is dedicated to educating the next generation of environmental professionals,” said RVCC President Michael J. McDonough. “We are excited to have a new partnership with Unity College at a time when enrollment in science majors is growing, and we recently broke ground on the expansion of our Science Center.”

“It is crucial that qualified students be supported in their pursuit of a degree. The jobs are out there, and we work hard to guide students toward their professional goals,” said Provost and VP for Academic Affairs Michael Evans. “Unity College welcomes this partnership with Raritan Valley Community College and applauds the quality of their foundational science courses, making for a smooth transition to Unity.”
