Right Now
The mission of Unity has never been more relevant or necessary. Climate change is not science fiction—it is happening right now. Recently, our government has placed priority on the mitigation of global climate change. Severe weather events from the devastating flooding in New York to record high temperatures across the globe have spiked public interest. In December 2012, Unity College became the first institution of higher education to divest from investments in fossil fuels, kicking off a growing national movement.
